Last Sunday, the Tucson community came together in an act of solidarity and generosity, feeding 400 people in need. This initiative, led by the team at Kingfisher, was aimed at providing meals for furloughed workers, those who lost SNAP benefits, or anyone else in need. The event, which will be repeated this coming Sunday, 11/9, from 10 a.m. to noon at Kingfisher (2564 E Grant Road), offers chili (with a vegan option), cornbread, and salad to anyone who needs a meal.
