New surgical robot at Banner helps identify seizure origin for epilepsy patients

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Banner University Medical Center in Tucson is home to southern Arizona’s largest fleet of surgical robotics.

The hospital’s 10 robotic assistants perform a variety of minimally invasive procedures. One of these procedures is helping surgeons pinpoint the origins of seizures in epilepsy patients.
