Former Tucson City Council candidate stabbed after home break-in

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Former Tucson City Council candidate Jay Tolkoff is recovering after being stabbed following a home break in.

In a statement to 13 News, Jay Tolkoff said “I’ve never had a bad day in my life. The short story is a youth broke into my house yesterday morning. I encountered him and he swung a 4 inch razor blade on the end of a handle at me. I was able to deflect it, but I did need to go to the hospital for some stitching up”
