TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Authorities responded to a multiple-vehicle crash near Craycroft and Glenn in Tucson on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed officers were called to the area for a two- or three-vehicle accident.
DANGEROUS AND DEADLY DECEMBER
13 News has reported on 11 serious crashes involving pedestrians or cyclists in southern Arizona this month. So far, six people have died.
- On Dec. 1, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash near Fort Lowell and Oracle in Tucson.
- On Dec. 1, one pedestrian was killed, and another was injured in a crash near Interstate 19 and Esperanza Road in Green Valley.
- On Dec. 2, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Drexel and 6th in Tucson.
- On Dec. 2, a man on a mobility scooter was injured in a crash near Fry and Moorman in Sierra Vista.
- On Dec. 5, a bicyclist was hit in the 9400 block of East Irvington Road in Tucson and died days later.
- On Dec. 9, a pedestrian was injured in an accident near Mark and Valencia in Pima County.
- On Dec. 11, a bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident near Drexel and Westover in Pima County.
- On Dec. 14, a pedestrian and several people were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Vail.
- On Dec. 15, a pedestrian was hit and killed near 22nd Street and Fourth Avenue in Tucson.
- On Dec. 16, a pedestrian was hit and killed on Interstate 10 near Vail in Pima County.
