MARANA, Ariz. — The community gathered Tuesday to honor Vietnam veteran Darrell Lee Arelt at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana. Despite having no family or friends by his side, Arelt was laid to rest with a heartfelt tribute from those who never knew him.
Hundreds came together to pay their respects to Second Lieutenant and Vietnam War veteran Darrell Lee Arelt, who passed away in November due to illness.
