Juan Cristóbal Flores passed away six days after he and a fellow employee were shot while working at a Goodwill Donation Center. His death was announced by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which has since arrested a suspect.
A graduate from the University of Arizona, Flores sang in the Tucson Symphony Orchestra (TSO) Chorus for four years. He also sang with the Catalina United Methodist Church, the Helios Ensemble, and the Arizona Opera.
Just before his passing, he had sung in the TSO Chorus’s annual “Messiah” concerts with the orchestra and in the Christmas Eve services at Catalina United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the church’s Scholar Singers program for over 10 years…
