TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – On Friday, 13 News learned of new developments surrounding the Amphitheater school district’s planned closures of multiple schools.
As 13 News has confirmed, the Arizona State School for the Deaf and the Blind in Tucson is exploring a lease partnership with one of the schools slated for closure.
“Every decision is being made to be in the best interests of ensuring that we are providing an excellent education and that we’re taking care of the students as well as their families,” ASDB Director of Policy and Government Relations Maria Murphy said.
