Colorful LEGO Sculptures Take Over Reid Park Zoo

Color, creativity and a sense of childhood wonder are coming to Reid Park Zoo with the arrival of Nature POP!, a bold outdoor exhibition by acclaimed artist Sean Kenney.

Opening to the public on Friday, Jan. 30, Nature POP! features 40 large scale sculptures made entirely from LEGO bricks, using more than 800,000 pieces in total. Produced by Imagine, the exhibit blends art, science and innovation, inviting visitors to experience wildlife through vivid color and playful design.

As guests stroll through the Zoo’s pathways, they will encounter a seven foot polar bear mother with her cubs, a prancing fox, a watchful lion and a delicately detailed dragonfly with light filtering through its wings.
