Tucson Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle that happened Friday afternoon on Campbell, south of Roger Road.
Police say they were called to the scene around 2:15 p.m. for the crash. Investigators say after looking at roadway evidence and holding interviews, the 72-year-old driver of a 2002 Toyota Tacoma was heading northbound and tried to make a left turn. When the driver made the turn, he did so in front of 44-year-old Jason Allen Woodhouse, who was on a motorcycle. Woodhouse crashed into the Tacoma. Police say he died at the scene.
Detectives say they later learned Woodhouse did not have a motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash…
