Thousands of pounds of dog food stolen from Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – More than 3,500 pounds of dog food were stolen from the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank during a break-in last weekend.

Volunteer Randi Holzmann discovered the theft when she opened their storage facility and found two pallets of dog food missing, each weighing more than 1,000 pounds.

She said the remaining pallets were also half as tall as they should be, and that their stacks of treats and other food had been taken as well…
