Prison sentence issued after Arizona man loses $480K in lottery scam

TUCSON, Ariz. — A Jamaican national was sentenced last week to 27 months in prison for partaking in a scam that resulted in an elderly Arizona man losing $480,000.

Deeno Jackson, 27, was recently sentenced in federal court after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Arizona.
