The next women-only automotive care class is being presented by the Oro Valley Police Department and Catalina Towing & Recovery on Thursday, Feb. 19, at OVPD headquarters.

The class, open to women ages 15 and older, “provides ladies a hands-on experience in basic automotive maintenance,” an invitation said. “This class helps empower participants by giving them the confidence to understand how vehicles operate, to perform light maintenance, and gives them an understanding of technical jargon that mechanics may use.”…
