TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – There’s a new addition to this year’s Tucson Rodeo Parade, unique wagons that have never made an appearance in the world’s longest non-motorized parade.
They were a gift from the Scripps family in San Diego, and volunteers have been busy getting them ready for the big day.
Bursting with bright colors and a far cry from what we’re used to seeing in the Tucson Rodeo Parade, committee members are busy getting these circus wagons ready for their debut.
“We’re very fortunate to have these wagons,” said Rick Monje, the equipment chair and wagon master for the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee. “They came from San Diego from the Scripps family.”…
