Tucson Police investigate vandalism at UA Hillel building

TUCSON, Ariz. — An investigation is underway after the University of Arizona Hillel building, a center for Jewish Student Life on campus, was found vandalized last Sunday. No one was inside the building at the time of the incident.

According to Eddie Lange, interim executive director of UA Hillel, a staff member discovered damage to the building on Feb. 15. The safety glass on a large window had cracked but didn’t break through after it was struck by an object. A small window was also damaged.

Lange said no messages were left at the site, and nearby buildings were not affected. The building was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported…
