Tucson asking for feedback on data center zoning rules

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Tucson is asking for public feedback on its plans to restrict where a data center can be built, and what information developers would need to share beforehand.

There are two meetings left, focusing only on a draft plan that adds new zoning rules.

Those rules would determine where in the city a data center can be built, how big the buildings can be, and how far back from the street they must be. They would also require a developer to present documents publicly proving they have access to enough water and power…
