She was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona, residence on February 1, 2026, after she failed to show up at the church services at a family member’s home. Amid the investigations surrounding her case, the officials have now found skeletal remains, just miles away from her home. According to the Mirror U.S., Nancy is suspected to have been abducted from her Arizona home in the Catalina foothills in the early hours of February 1, 2026. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating the entire area for any leads or clues, but has not reached a positive development yet. A report on Kvoa.com revealed that the tragic case comes after the Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified human remains near North Swan Road as a 77-year-old man named Thomas Reuter. The deputies said that Reuter’s remains were reported on October 2, 2025, at around 3 pm in a desert-like location near North Swan Road, which is located in the southeast of Sunrise Drive, which is around 8 to 11 miles and a 20-to 25-minute drive from Nancy’s home. The last known update about the case was when the identified remains were found, and the detectives with the Homicide Unit had not revealed the details surrounding Thomas Reuter’s death.
