Bass Pro Shops Sets March 25 Grand Opening for New Outdoor World Location in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (March 20, 2026) — North America’s premier outdoor retailer and conservation company will donate 15 percent of sales on most items during its Evening for Conservation to support local conservation efforts. Bass Pro Shops announced that it will officially celebrate the grand opening of its new Tucson Outdoor World location with a special Evening for Conservation on Wednesday, March 25, with entertainment beginning at 5 p.m.

The new 100,000-square-foot Outdoor World store is located at 1500 E. Tucson Marketplace Boulevard and will anchor The Marketplace at the Bridges just off Interstate 10. Designed to serve outdoor enthusiasts across Southern Arizona, the store will reflect the sporting heritage of the Sonoran Desert region. It will be Bass Pro Shops’ third Arizona location, offering the brand’s signature mix of outdoor gear, expert service, and immersive in-store experiences.

Founded in 1972 by noted conservationist and angler Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops began in an 8-square-foot space inside his father’s liquor store in Springfield, Missouri. That single location remained the company’s only store for its first 13 years.
