Ex-Pima County sheriff turns on department and slams corrupt Nancy Guthrie crime scene

A former United States Surgeon General and 34-year veteran of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has said the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has been irreversibly damaged.

The remarks represent the strongest public criticism yet from within Tucson’s law enforcement community. This comes as Savannah Guthrie’s mother has been missing for 56 days, with no identified suspects or clear motive.
