Miller’s Surplus in Tucson closing after 75 years

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson staple is closing its doors after more than seven decades.

Miller’s Surplus, located at 406 North 6th Avenue, announced on Wednesday that it is closing down after 75 years.

The store will be open and hosting liquidation sales from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each Wednesday through Sunday until everything is gone.

The legendary Don Sloane, a World War II veteran who owned the store, posted a video to Facebook thanking the Tucson community for the support over the years…
