Man with knife shot and killed by officers in southern Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. — A man who “produced” a knife to the Tucson Police Department (TPD) was shot and killed by officers on Friday night, according to the city’s police department.

At 7:45 p.m., the Public Safety Communications Department received a 911 call about a suspicious person near 36th Street and Park Avenue.
