WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — Authorities in Wagoner County are investigating a case of animal cruelty after two dogs were found dead inside a motel room.
On June 16, deputies with the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Indian Lodge Motel about a report of animal neglect.
When they arrived, the property manager told deputies that there had been multiple complaints about three dogs who were left unattended for extended periods of time. They also said they had tried to get the owner to rehome the dogs due to concerns about their welfare…
