Several roads have been closed across the area due to flash flooding as emergency officials warn drivers to avoid high-water areas and never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
Wagoner County Emergency Management said crews responded to a blocked roadway near 6807 S. 217th East Avenue because of flooding. Officials said creeks and rivers are rising quickly and warned residents to expect additional road closures and flooded low-water crossings.
