TULSA, Okla. — July marks the sixth annual Tulsa Music Month, a month-long celebration of local artists, venues, and live music.
“Tulsa wouldn’t be Tulsa without its music,” says Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture (FMAC) assistant director of music programs and services Natalie Bowling. “From the greats of the past that laid the foundation to today’s stars and up-and-coming artists, music has always been central to the city’s DNA, and Tulsa Music Month is one way to celebrate everything that was and is great about our city’s music scene.”
New this year, Tulsa FMAC is working with Mythic Press to launch a brand-new Tulsa music shirt as well as Tulsa Music Bingo cards. The game will encourage players to support local music through a a variety of tasks and challenges…
