CLAREMORE, Okla. – More than 200 children participated in the annual Kids Fishing Derby at Claremore Lake on Saturday, where families gathered for a day of fishing, prizes and outdoor activities.
Each participant received a free fishing rod, reel and bait during the event. Children competed throughout the day for prizes tied to different fishing categories such as biggest fish, longest fish, and shortest fish caught during the derby.
