SKIATOOK, Okla. — A local animal rescue says it’s facing a space crisis as more adopted dogs are being returned and fewer adult dogs are finding new homes.
Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue says it has seen a significant increase in adoption returns over the past three months, averaging two to three returned dogs each week. The rescue says many of those dogs were adopted months or even years ago.
