Back to School Bash helps families with health needs and limited resources

TULSA, Okla. — Families in Tulsa got more than just school supplies at a back-to-school event designed to connect them with resources, information and a supportive community.

The 2026 Spreading Hope Back to School Bash was held Saturday at B.S. Roberts Park at Langston University Tulsa. The event was hosted by Supporters of Families with Sickle Cell Disease and was open to the entire community, with a particular focus on families living with sickle cell disease, rare diseases and disabilities.
