Tulsa’s Neon Prairie pauses 2026 large-scale festival

TULSA, Okla. – Neon Prairie is taking a break from producing its large-scale festival in 2026, but organizers say the event is not going away.

In an announcement to supporters, the independent festival team said this year’s Neon Prairie will “look different … by quite a bit” as organizers take time to rest and work behind the scenes on future plans.

The festival launched in 2024 and held its second event in 2025. Organizers said the first two festivals reached more than 260 million people globally online, welcomed more than 10,000 attendees and brought together hundreds of musicians, creative artists and performers…
