TPS considers school closures, consolidations amid declining enrollment
TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Public Schools is looking for ways to cut at least $12 million from its operating budget as the district deals with declining enrollment. One option under consideration is closing or consolidating schools.
The district has begun holding public meetings to hear from teachers, families and community members before making any decisions about which schools could be affected.
