SAPULPA, Okla. – For 37 years, classic car enthusiasts have rolled into Sapulpa for the Route 66 Blowout, bringing cars, trucks and stories from across the country.
What began with about 35 cars, one food vendor and a DJ has grown into a 300-car event along Route 66.
A tradition nearly 4 decades in the making
The annual event attracts classic car owners from states including Minnesota, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri and Colorado.
