Broken Arrow woman receives default judgment in case of license plate mix-up
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Kristin Blake almost treated it like junk mail—a $50 ticket for speeding in a school zone from the New York City Department of Finance. But Kristin had never even been to New York, even though the license plate on the semi-truck was the exact number from her plate; except her tags were Cherokee Nation tribal tags, and New York’s enforcement camera captured State of Oklahoma plates on the big rig.
