Rain could affect Halloween trick-or-treating across Oklahoma on Saturday, Oct. 31, as a weather system brings increasing rain chances to Oklahoma City, Tulsa and surrounding communities through the weekend.
Rain chances move into western Oklahoma starting Thursday evening and will continue through Halloween weekend into the start of next week. This will be a widespread rain event across much of central and western Oklahoma with heaviest rain across southwestern Oklahoma. For Eastern Oklahoma, including the Tulsa area, rain chances pick up Friday and have a higher chance of rain Saturday during the day as of now.
It is important to remember that with widespread rain systems, this does not mean everyone will get rain, especially during trick or treating hours.
