TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are still investigating their fifth homicide of the year after a deadly shooting on Friday at a shopping center near 61st and Peoria.

18-year-old Lekysha Davis has been charged with the first-degree murder of Clifford Pizana, after police say Pizana was involved in an unrelated carjacking moments before.

“If you see her, if you know her, if you know where she might be, don’t hesitate to give us a call, you can always remain anonymous,” said Tulsa Police Officer Danny Bean.

Police said the three suspects in the carjacking were found at the nearby Savannah Landing apartments and are witnesses to the murder.

“It’s really been a high concentration of poverty, you have probably two or three apartment complexes, specifically Savanna Landing,” said City Councilor Jayme Fowler.

Fowler is the city councilor for District 9, which covers the area of 61st and Peoria and other surrounding streets.

“One of the things that we’ve done is this, is that we’ve put in cameras, security cameras, from the City of Tulsa, city police, our real time information center,” said Fowler.
