Broken Arrow woman with dinosaur yard decorations receives gift with deeper meaning

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Decorating really wasn’t Leslie Breedlove’s thing, but one Christmas she found a dinosaur with a gift in its mouth.

That one dinosaur led to 50, which her neighbors in Broken Arrow say make their day.

Breedlove decorates her yard full of dinosaurs themed according to holidays year around.

“Halloween, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Fourth of July and Easter and Memorial Day,” Breedlove said.

One family decided to thank her by gifting her a mini dinosaur that had a deeper meaning.

The family dropped off the gift one night while Breedlove and her son were out trick or treating.

This was when the search began.

After posting on Facebook to find who was behind this kind gesture, she eventually found out who it was.

“So one of the people in the neighborhood, her nephew had been diagnosed with neuroblastoma right about the time that we moved here and started putting up our Christmas dinosaurs. This child loved dinosaurs and she started sending pictures of the display to them every time it would change,” Breedlove said.
