TULSA, Okla. — A large police presence near Admiral and Sheridan has put a nearby elementary school on lockdown.
Tulsa Police say they’re assisting the Department of Corrections on a call about a man on probation who cut off his ankle monitor and is refusing to come out of a hotel room.
The location, Best Budget Inn, is right next to Bell Elementary. FOX23 reached out to the school who say they’re on lockdown.
FOX23 has a crew on scene awaiting details. There is a large police presence outside the inn.
