Authorities looking for man charged with harboring runaway child in April 2023

HOMINY, Okla. — Police and deputies are looking for a man charged with two counts of harboring a minor in April 2023. He’s now facing even more charges after he was allegedly found with a 14-year-old and he ran off.

Nicholas Patrick Faulkner was already charged after an incident where Hominy Police said he scuffled with one of their officers, tried to take his gun and swam across a lake to get away.

According to the affidavit, Faulkner told police, “those girls were trying to leave and I held them down so they couldn’t.”

Court documents showed that one of the girls told police she tried to leave, but Faulkner strangled her and she couldn’t breathe.

Faulkner was charged with assault and battery on police officer, breaking and entering, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and two counts of harboring a runaway child.

Faulkner did not show up to court Jan. 26 to enter his plea in that case.

Instead, he allegedly ran from police again during a traffic stop.
