The owners of a Tulsa restaurant are frustrated after a thief breaks into the building and took off with their cash register.
They say they will be out $3,500 and the theft was caught on tape.
Maddie and Zach Morris, the owners of 3Natives at 101st and Sheridan, say they are doing what they can to get back on their feet and now they hope police will find the person responsible.
The security footage outside of 3Natives shows a person breaking through the front glass.
The person goes inside and rips the wires off the cash register, grabs it, and runs back out the front door.
The owners discovered the damage when they got into work on Tuesday.
“I immediately called my brother Zach to get him up here, and then just kind of went from there, called the police, and filed a report,” said Maddie Morris.
“I got in my truck and got here as fast as possible,” said Zach Morris. “Someone had smashed the door open, taken the cash register drawer, and that’s about it. We’re lucky with that, at least.”
Maddie and Zach Morris are brother and sister and opened 3Natives together seven months ago.
