TULSA, Okla. — After her father had a stroke, a 12-year-old is honoring her father and teaching people about the signs of a stroke through her lemonade business.
This lemonade isn’t your old-fashioned lemonade sale by the side of the road in a paper cup.

“What I do is, I make healthy ginger lavender lemonade. I have two flavors, it’s ginger lavender lemonade and pineapple ginger lemonade,” said 12-year-old entrepreneur Kori Green, the creator of Koko’s Organic Lemonade .
“It started as an economics project and it did so well that we just wanted to continue it, and so we did and here is now,” Green also said.
After her dad had a stroke, they decided it was important to spread awareness of the signs so that everyone knows before it happens.
“When he had the stroke, it was like a lot and we were in someplace else, so I had to go with my grandparents, and then couple days later the economics happened and my dad looked up the benefits of the ginger and he noticed that those benefits related to his stroke, so then we thought of this and we thought of the stroke, so we put the awareness,” Green said.
