‘An Awful Experience’: Hit-And-Run Crash In Tulsa Neighborhood Damages Vehicles, Police Investigating

Tulsa Police are investigating after a driver ran off the road and slammed into two cars parked in driveways near 21st and I-44.

The driver took off, and the police report says the car smelled of alcohol and there was an empty whiskey bottle inside.

One of the victims told News On 6 that her car was totaled and she had less than 50,000 miles on it and now, she has no way to get around.

Doorbell security footage shows the moment the driver slammed into the second car before running off.

That car belongs to Maria Guzman.

She’s frustrated, trying to figure out what to do next and who’s going to pay since her car was totaled.

“I was like really shaken,” said Guzman. “I was very scared and very nervous, and it was just like an awful experience.”

It makes her even angrier she’s in this situation because none of it was her fault.

“You have to get a new car, pay for new registration, start all over with payments, also the deductible,” said Guzman. “And then see how much they want to give you for the total loss.”
