Tulsa restaurant hosting Super Bowl party to help raise money for St. Jude

TULSA, Okla. — On Sunday, Tulsa restaurant and bar Elephant Run, will be full of Super Bowl fans.

Elephant Run will be hosting a watch party for Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

“We’re gonna have so much fun and it is such an honor that Lexie is so kind to give all of the proceeds to St. Jude, what a great charity!” said patron, Susan.

Elephant Run bar owner Alexus Mills said she is excited for the turn out on Sunday because it’ll be great for fans, as well as for the children.

“There’s a lot of people that aren’t even Chiefs fans that just come in here just to support St. Jude’s, and the atmosphere is just insane when you come in here,” Alexus said. “Just people say it’s the Kansas City atmosphere and everyone’s excited and the fans get in with it.”

Last year, Elephant Run hosted a Super Bowl party and raised $20,000 for St. Jude. The goal this year is to raise much more than that.

“Our goal going into the season was $25,000. I put a sign dollar on the line for it too. That was the goal $25,000 and fingers crossed, we hit it,” Alexus said.
