TULSA, Okla. — A family is asking for help in finding a Tulsa woman who went missing after leaving a prom event celebrating those with special needs.

The family of 40-year-old Katie Vaclaw is asking for the public’s help in finding their daughter who suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome. One of the main symptoms of the rare genetic disorder is the inability to control eating.

Her parents said she is not on her medication and they are worried about her well-being.

She also has developmental disabilities and is described as 4 foot 5 inches, weighing around 102 pounds and has light brown hair and brown eyes.
