Juvenile hit in south Tulsa shooting, police say

TULSA, Okla. — Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting involving a juvenile in south Tulsa.

Tulsa Police said an officer was driving near 71st around 10:20 p.m. when they pulled someone over for speeding. The driver got out and told the officer about a shooting at a house near 81st and Memorial.

Officers responded to that area and began investigating when they learned a juvenile was in the hospital for a shooting. The juvenile’s mother told police they were at the house when shots were fired, hitting her child.

Police said the juvenile is in stable condition. The mother gave officers possible suspect information.
