Water outage reported in Sapulpa, could affect residents for several hours

SAPULPA, Okla. — Sapulpa Police Department reported a water outage that they said could affect many residents south of Rock Creek for several hours on Saturday.

City workers are working to replace a valve at the water storage tank.

At this time, there is not an estimated time on when water will be restored.

Sapulpa Police said they have received many 911 and non-emergency line calls regarding the outage, which they said is overwhelming their dispatchers with questions about the restoration time.

FOX23 will provide updates on the outage as they become available.
