Fight at the fair leads to highway shooting in Tulsa, police say

TULSA, Okla. ( KFOR ) – According to the Tulsa Police Department, a fight at the fair led to a shooting on Sunday.

Officials say Tulsa Police officers responded on I-244 near Yale Ave. around 12:45 a.m. regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a small SUV with broken windows and bullet holes. There were seven people inside the SUV and two of them were hurt in the shooting. Both were taken to a hospital, one was critically injured while the other had a minor injury to their arm.

According to Tulsa PD, officers later learned that the incident began at the Tulsa State Fair. One person in the SUV told police they got into a fight while leaving the fair and believe that may have led to the shooting.
