FOX23 hears from mother who says DHS lied to her, took away her children

“They cried a lot because they only let me see them for an hour. They cried and I cried because what is going on here? What are you doing to my children,” Brianne said.

Those are the words of a local mom who’s trying to reach her kids after not seeing them in more than two years since they were taken into DHS custody.

She is one of the six families whose stories state lawmakers are using to try and push forward a state and federal investigation into DHS.

FOX23 has brought you extensive coverage over the last month on this investigative order from some state lawmakers and how it has come to a screeching halt at the Capitol.

FOX23 told you that order listed six families, but the House Committee of Criminal Justice has been working to open it up to more.

Now, one more has come forward saying her constitutional rights have been robbed and DHS has lied and covered up crimes against her children.
