CATOOSA, Okla. — Firefighters responded to a semi truck on fire near East 11th Street and the Creek Turnpike Tuesday morning.
Firefighters said the call came in at 5:58 a.m. and both the Rolling Hills Fire Department and Tulsa Fire Department responded.
Only part of the small fuel truck caught on fire.
Firefighters said 60 gallons of diesel caught on fire in the front of the truck before firefighters were able to control it. The back tank with 500 gallons of diesel did not catch on fire.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured.
East 11th Street is currently closed as crews clear the scene.
