Custom cabinetry owners face $370,000 in felony charges

OKLAHOMA CITY — The CEO and CFO of Wilshire Cabinets, a high-end cabinet business in Oklahoma City, face multiple felony charges after an investigation by Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s office. The two are accused of defrauding customers of more than $370,000.

In February, the Attorney General’s Consumer Advocacy Unit filed charges against Travis Morelock, 39, and Jason Grife, 40, after more than six victims filed complaints between July 2022 and March 2023. These complaints resulted in six felony counts for violating the Consumer Protection Act through unfair and deceptive trade practices.

A total of $374,048.75 was paid to Morelock, who served as CEO, and Grife, who acted as CFO, for custom cabinets to be installed. According to the charges, the defendants never delivered or installed the cabinets and failed to refund any of the money to the victims…
