Wagoner County man sentenced to 33 years for killing 2 people with steak knife

WAGONER COUNTY, OKLA. (KTUL) — A Wagoner County resident was sentenced to 33 years in prison for two counts of second-degree murder in Indian Country.

According to investigators, on October 24, 2023, 32-year-old Nicholas Lapez Scarborough intentionally stabbed two people with a steak knife.

One of the victims died after calling for help. The second victim died two weeks later from the injuries…
