TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa’s bookstores celebrated Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday.
“Today is Independent Book Store Day,” said Jenna Akuma, the executive director of Magic City Books. “It is a day organized by the American Booksellers Association and we are one of over 1,600 bookstores participating in the celebration today. It’s a day to come out and celebrate and support your local independent bookstore.”
