KIEFER –– Kiefer Schools issued a Shelter in Place order on Wednesday, April 30 after being notified that local law enforcement was in foot pursuit of a suspect by local law enforcement.
Multiple arms of law enforcement worked together for several hours before finally apprehending the suspect, 34-year-old Jacob Jene Stice, shortly before noon.
Officers from the Kiefer Police Department, the Creek County Sheriff’s office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol gathered for a while at Kiefer City Hall, apparently planning the pursuit, before fanning out across western Kiefer to search for the suspect…
