Tulsa trucking expert outlines inspection steps after OHP highlights trailer risks

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — Oklahoma Highway Patrol is sharing the importance of their routine safety inspections after conducting a commercial motor vehicle traffic stop and finding a structural crack on the truck’s trailer frame, which they say posed a serious risk of collapse.

“Cracked frames. That’s not quite as common. That’s probably why Trooper Ragland put it on Facebook,” said OHP Trooper Chris Herd.
